EL PASO, Texas, July 6, 2015 /Daily Offbeat/ — Coffin Cuties and Diabolique magazines announced Jamie Matsu Chin as the winner of the First Official Vampirella Model Contest.

Jamie Chin is the first official ambassador for “Vampirella and looks forward to her reign as the Official Vampirella brought to you by Coffin Cuties Magazine, Dark’s Productions and Dynamite Comics.”

“I am beyond thrilled to announce that Nequim Black, Nequim Red, the magic behind these photographs and D Alan Calhoun, the talent behind the coffin fabrication and myself have won the title of first official Vampirella! What an honor!” wrote Jamie Matsu Chin on her Facebook page.

Jamie will remain Vampirella “much like a heavyweight boxing champion and annually we will have a Vampirella contest where she must be unseated as the champion. Her reign as the Official Vampirella will continue until this happens. After that she will always be known as the First Official Vampirella,” declared Diabolique.

“Jamie is the absolute best Vampirella we have ever seen,” commented Coffin Cuties magazine.

Vampirella writer and JFK suspect T. Casey Brennan thinks it’s about time.

“The Vampirella character always seemed Asian to me, and obviously I wasn’t the only writer associated with her that felt that way, said Vampirella writer & JFK suspect T. Casey Brennan.

“Vampirella was always Asian, just as Marvel’s Nick Fury was always African American. In the 21st century, we just found out, that’s all!”

“They should have made her Asian to begin with. That was the feel I had all along, and obviously I wasn’t the only one,” Brennan added.
